Games I’ve Worked On

How to Train Your Dragon:

Riders of the Skies

I was the UX / UI designer for this collaboration with Nex Inc., Universal Pictures, and DreamWorks, which brought How to Train Your Dragon to the Nex Playground in the form of a flight game controlled entirely by the player’s motions!

I oversaw the main user flow that guides the player from the Playground’s main menu, into the motion calibration process, and through the gameplay experience. In addition to the overall UX, I worked with the creative director and engineers to design and implement an interactive dragon selection that takes full advantage of the platform’s motion controls.

Homeworld:

Vast Reaches

I served as a UX, UI, and XR designer for the latest release in the Homeworld franchise, which was designed for virtual reality headsets from the ground up in partnership with Gearbox Software.

For the majority of the project, I worked with our creative director, lead artist, and multiple engineers to develop the user interface and HUD elements that communicated gameplay systems to the player.

FarBridge was also fortunate enough to work with Meta’s User Experience Research team to gather feedback and improve the player experience of the game. I observed these playtest sessions with the primary goal being to improve the game’s tutorial.
